It is so funny how much I’ve changed since I came to Australia. There are so many things that I didn’t use to eat back home just because they weren’t part of my culture. Guacamole was one of them. I couldn’t understand how to use avocado to make something savoury, because most of the time back home we used avocado to make smoothies – mashing them, and adding milk powder and sugar.
These days I ask myself how I spent so long without eating such a good thing, it’s just a shame that avocado here is not as cheap and as big as in Brazil.
